This is a great program for the families of students in Career and Technical Educational programs. The "Parent Reimbursement Grant" funded through the "Governor Parson's Emergency Education Relief Fund" has allocated a set amount of funds to every school district in the state to reimburse families who purchase industry-specific items for their child.
These items may include but are not limited to:
- Program-specific special dress
- Tools
- Personal protective, or other specialized equipment
To seek reimbursement, you will need to contact your High School administration to find out
their process. Make sure to say you are requesting reimbursement through the "GEER II Parent
Reimbursement" program. Be sure to keep your itemized receipts for any purchases you make
that could be eligible.
