Congratulations to our Automotive Technology I instructor, Shannon Lasiter, for being named the May GTC Teacher of the Month. Mr. Lasiter works hard to find common denominators with all of his students in an effort to build positive relationships. His passion for meeting the needs of all students is always on display. When a student struggles in the classroom he helps the student overcome it and when a student thrives in the classroom he celebrates.
Our Employee of the Month is one of our paraprofessionals, Robby Parrish. Mr. Parrish genuinely cares about all of the students. He has high expectations for all students and is always willing to help students meet these expectations in the classroom. He is the ultimate team player at GTC by always being willing to help out whenever or wherever he is needed. As a district bus driver he is very dependable and cares for all of the kids on his bus route.
