Congratulations to the following Marine Technology students for being named the GTC May Professionals of the Month:
Branson High School junior Tyler McVay is never afraid to get out of his comfort zone in regards to taking on projects and repairs he has not yet experienced. His classmates turn to him when they need help tackling some of the projects that roll through the marine shop. He values what he is learning in his program of study because he loves boats, being on the lake and fishing. After graduation he looking for to a career as a mechanic.
Reeds Spring High School junior Dusty Rader is a detail-oriented person who takes pride in all of the things he does in the shop from writing invoices to completing difficult repairs. He is a model of consistency always exceeding expectations. He loves turning wrenches while working on all types of motors. After graduation he plans on attending the Southeast Lineman Training Center in Trenton, Georgia to pursue a career as a lineman.
