High School -

Reeds Spring High School’s basketball and wrestling teams competed in several tournaments during winter break.

The boys basketball team played two games in Springfield’s Blue and Gold Tournament, losing to Ozark 52-34 and to Mountain Grove 50-44.

The RSHS Lady Wolves competed in the Southwest Girls Holiday Tournament in Washburn. After losing to Southwest 60-52, RSHS beat Purdy 44-27. In the consolation bracket final, the Lady Wolves lost to Billings 48-40.

At the Nixa Girls Wrestling Invitational, Kierstin Allen placed fourth at 140 pounds. At the Lady Vikings Holiday Tournament in Springfield, Jenna Adams placed fourth in her weight class.

At the Kinloch Classic in Springfield, Shane Pearson placed second at 113 pounds and Josh Lowe was fourth at 215 pounds.
