hall of fame ceremony

One of the best softball players in Reeds Spring High School history, Izzy Erickson, was inducted into the school’s sports hall of fame last week, along with the winningest football coach in Reeds Spring High School history, Lance Gosch.

“I’m honored, obviously, there are so many good athletes here,” Erickson said. “I’m happy to be recognized for all of the hard work.”

Erickson, who graduated in 2020, holds many school records for both pitching and batting. She played college softball at Butler Community College and now works for a bike company in Golden, Colorado.

Gosch coached the Wolves football teams from 2014-2019 and now serves as the district’s activities director.

During the February 7 ceremony, the 2000 boys basketball team was also recognized for its third-place finish in the state.
