The Reeds Spring Robotics Program will expand to more grades faster than expected, thanks to a $1,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake.
The group's sponsor, Keith Kramer, said the money will be used to add a fourth-grade program. Currently, students in grades 5-7 can participate.
The Robotics program has already hosted one tournament this year and will host another in February.
Last year, two teams competed in the world championships in Texas.
