Nicole Rantz

Every month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one exceptional teacher with an Excellence Award. The deserving winner for March is Nicole Rantz. She’s a sixth-grade teacher at Reeds Spring Intermediate School.

“Nicole literally pours her heart and soul into her students and her work at Reeds Spring Intermediate,” said Principal Andrea Chavez. “She spends so much of her own time fine-tuning lessons and researching new and different strategies to offer her students. Our kids are lucky and blessed to have Nicole as a part of our team.”

This is Rantz’s 15th year at Reeds Spring Intermediate School. She’s known for creating a supportive and engaging classroom where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Student Nora Mitchell said, “Mrs. Rantz is a really good teacher because no matter what you need, she is always there for you. If you don’t get the process of a math problem, she will show you and continue to encourage you until you can get it right. She makes us feel like we can solve and accomplish anything!”

The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. You can find the

nomination form on the district website.
