Robotics competition

Reeds Spring Middle School will transform into a center of innovation as it hosts the VEX IQ State Robotics Competition on February 22.

Nearly 50 teams of students in grades 4-8 will compete, showcasing robots they have designed and programmed to complete tasks judged on speed and precision. All of the contests will take place in the RSMS Auditorium.

The stakes are high, as top-performing teams will earn a spot in the VEX IQ World Championship, set to take place in Dallas, Texas, this May.

The competition starts at 10:00 a.m. and the awards will be presented at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free, and concessions will be available. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see young innovators in action!
