Every month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one exceptional teacher with an Excellence Award. September’s deserving winner is Mrs. Renee Waters. She is a fifth-grade teacher at Reeds Spring Intermediate School.
“Mrs. Waters is one of the hardest-working individuals you will ever meet,” said Intermediate School Principal Andrea Chavez. “She puts so much time, energy, and heart into creating the best lessons possible for her students. She truly makes every decision based on what is best for those lucky kids she serves.”
Mrs. Waters has worked at Reeds Spring Schools for 17 years. She has 22 total years of experience in education. She’s made such an impact that many of her former students keep in touch with her years after they’ve had her in class
“Her passion and dedication have made an incredible difference in the lives of many and we are extremely proud to have her hard work honored,” Chavez said.
The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. You can find the nomination form here.
