48 recent Reeds Spring High School graduates received financial support to continue their educational journeys. They received scholarships from the Reeds Spring School Foundation. Those scholarships had a combined value of $110,000. They ranged from $100 to $10,000.
The Foundation raised money through events like PACK NIGHT at Dolly Parton’s Stampede and the Wolf Howl Golf Scramble. Several businesses and individuals also contributed.
“This was a record-setting year for the Reeds Spring School Foundation,” said Chairman Ben Fisher. “It’s gratifying to know that we’re helping students start college or trade school without having to worry quite so much about debt.”
