Every month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one exceptional teacher with an Excellence Award. February’s deserving winner is Mr. Richard White, a science teacher at Reeds Spring High School.
“Mr. White is a beacon of positivity, whose unwavering dedication and boundless enthusiasm ignites a passion for learning in every student,” said colleague Eric Davis. “His impact transcends the classroom, nurturing a culture of curiosity and excellence that enriches our entire student body."
This is White’s eighth year with the district. He is praised by both students and staff for engaging lessons that keep students interested.
“My daughter has stories every day about what she learned in his class,” said parent Kimberly Castaneda. “She says he's a very good teacher and is glad to be in his class this year.”
The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. You can find the nomination form on the district website.
