Every month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one exceptional staff member with an Excellence Award. September’s deserving winner is Jill Swestka, the district’s data coordinator. She was recognized for overseeing the district’s implementation of a new student information system, called Infinite Campus.
“The work that she has done behind the scenes is not seen by others and can easily go unnoticed but has set us up for a successful transition,” said Assistant Superintendent Dr. Travis Kite.
This is Swestka’s third year with the district. Colleagues said she is always supportive and willing to help when needed.
“We have reached out to Jill numerous times and each time was greeted with a positive attitude, smile, and solution,” said Intermediate School Principal Andrea Chavez. “Her positive mindset and willingness to go above and beyond goes unmatched and is very much appreciated!”
The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. You can find the nomination form on the district website.
