Mr. Keith Kramer
The VEX IQ Robotics Club is a STEM based program (science, technology, engineering and math) that is 100% hands-on and introduces students to the field of robotics and supporting technology. Students work as teams to create robots that are programmed and controlled by the students to perform both autonomous and driver directed actions in competition. Students compete in regional, state, and even global competitions with their robots. Our program will be holding a local competition at Reeds Spring Middle School on November 15th and 16th.
Grades 5-8 participate in an after school program learning to design, build, troubleshoot, record data, journal and program. They compete at local and some state wide competitions. Middle School students can choose to take Robotics as an elective class for first semester and compete at all levels of competition. Elementary students must commit to two practices a week. Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Intermediate building until 5:45pm, August through April.
